About the Notification Emails

Will reminder emails be sent to test takers who haven't taken the test?

  • Yes, reminder emails can be sent manually from the admin site by clicking a button. Additionally, automatic reminder emails will be sent every morning at 9 AM to those who have not completed the test, starting 7 days before the testing period end date.
  • Example: If the testing period end date is May 31, reminder emails will be sent from May 25 for up to 7 days.
  • The frequency of these automatic reminder emails can be customized for each test.

 

When are announcement emails sent to test takers?

  • Announcement emails are sent in the following three situations:
    • Upon registering the test taker's email address: Access code notification (the access code is sent each time the email address is entered).
    • When scoring is complete: Notification of scoring completion.
    • When retaking the test: Notification if the test was interrupted (e.g., due to audio issues during scoring).

※Additionally, a registration completion email is sent to the email addresses uploaded in the test taker list.

 

What types of emails are sent to corporate administrators, and when?

  • Emails are sent to administrators in the following four situations:
    • Upon completing company registration.
    • When the admin’s email address is entered: Access code notification (the access code is sent each time the email address is entered).
    • When the admin uploads the test taker list: Emails will be sent to all registered company admin email addresses.
    • When the test completion notification email is sent, based on the specified sending timing: Emails will be sent to all registered company admin email addresses.

 

About Errors

How can a test be retaken in case of an error?

If the test is interrupted, the test taker can access the Test Taker Site URL again, enter their email address (and test code*), obtain an access code, and click the "Start Test" button. The test can be resumed from the first question of the interrupted part.
*Test code is required only if Test Code Control is enabled.

 

Can a test be retaken if there was a problem or issue during the test?

In principle, retakes are not allowed. However, if a problem on the platform's side is recognized, a retake will be arranged. In such cases, the testing period may also be extended.

 

Can the testing period be extended if there was an error?

No, the testing period cannot be extended. Errors must be resolved within the original testing period. It is recommended to take the test early within the set testing period.

 

About the Admin Site

Can test taker information be edited?

Yes, test taker information can be edited via the CSV file. After downloading the CSV file, edit the content and upload it from the relevant test details page. Data for completed tests can also be edited. However, email addresses cannot be changed after registration, as they are used as the key identifier.

 

How long can test taker information be viewed?

Test taker information is guaranteed to be available from the testing start date until one year after the testing end date.
Example: For a test with a testing period of April 1–30, 2021, the information will be available until April 30, 2022, after the test completion.

 

How can incomplete test participants be identified?

  • There are two types of incomplete test participants:
    • Test takers who have entered their email address and accessed the test code but have not started the test.
      • These are listed as "Not Tested" in the admin site's status.
    • Test takers who have not yet entered their email address or test code.
      • These individuals are identified as "Unregistered" on the admin site, even though they may have been designated as test takers within your company.

 

Can a test taker's email address from "RareJob English Conversation" be used?

If the email address used for "RareJob English Conversation" is from the domain specified by your company for this test, it can be used. However, please note that the data is not shared between the two platforms.

 

Can the monitoring site for "RareJob English Conversation" be integrated with the admin site for this test?

No, integration between the "RareJob English Conversation" monitoring site and the admin site for this test is not possible.

 

About the Test

How is AI-based automatic scoring done?

The test is scored using a combination of speech recognition technology and our proprietary AI-based scoring system.

 

Are there any materials available to understand the test format in advance?

  • Sample questions are available here.  
  • PROGOS is designed to measure proficiency from beginner to advanced levels. The test itself is in English, and both the test questions and audio are in English. For beginners, reviewing the sample questions beforehand can help ensure a smoother test-taking experience.

If no speech is detected, the test cannot be scored, so be sure to speak as much as possible, even if you need to rely only on words you can hear or deduce from the text.

When can a test taker check their results after completing the test?

Test results can be checked in as little as a few minutes after completing the test.

 

Are there any additional notes about scoring?

  • The following situations may result in incorrect scoring:
    • Silence (no speech)
    • Responses in a language other than English
    • Responses unrelated to the questions
    • Any other responses that contradict the purpose of the test.
